Nextgen Mall is situated on Mombasa Road 15 minutes’ drive from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and 10 minutes’ drive from Nairobi CBD. The mall is part of a mixed use development comprising of residential towers, a commercial mall and office space.
Nextgen Mall opened its doors on December 9th 2016. It is a new style of mall development cropping up where not just a mall is built but residential and office space as well to give a three tiered package for shareholders of the development. The anchor tenant at the mall is Nakumatt, which will attract other tenants and draw in shoppers who before or after shopping will sample the other businesses operating at the mall.
The residential towers at Nextgen offer apartments and penthouses while the mall is 700,000 sq. feet with over 600 car park spaces. There is also a Petro Centre offering office space especially for petroleum related businesses.
