Sweet As A Kiss: Kenya’s Own Kiss Chocolates
Kiss Premium Chocolates is a local company that has been in operation for six months. They manufacture chocolates and specialize in using Belgian chocolate to make chocolate bars and rounds of whole fruits covered in chocolate.
The range of products offered by Kiss Premium Chocolates allows one to simultaneously enjoy both fruit and smooth chocolate by infusing exotic fruits with premium Belgian sourced chocolate. Some of the fruits they currently use are blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and cranberries. Their focus is on Belgian quality chocolates, therefore, they offer chocolate products free from vegetable fat and artificial ingredients.
The brain child behind Kiss Premium Chocolates is a couple made up of George Wanjohi and Monica Njoki who turned their passion for chocolate into a successful business. With an initial investment of Ksh 10 million, George and Monica have gone all out to see their dream fulfilled.
The couple is confident that their chocolates, which made a huge splash when they launched, will continue to do well in the local market. They are already planning to move from their current manufacturing base in Kahawa Sukari to a larger premises in Ruiru.
With White Chocolate Day around the corner, indulge in some of the white chocolate products offered by Kiss Premium Chocolates including their white chocolate bar with raspberry pieces, rounds of whole raspberries covered in white chocolate and rounds of whole strawberries covered in white chocolate. The rounds are packed in a re-sealable pouch.
