EXPLORE 9 CRATER LAKES IN UGANDA BY MOTORBIKE

In West Uganda, the land in between the Kibale Forest and the Rwenzori Mountains (including Mt. Stanley: the 3rd highest peak of Africa), hosts 52 deep crater lakes. The craters were formed about 8,000 – 10,000 years ago by heavy volcanic activity spreading rocks and ash all around, which makes the area very fertile up to today. It is green everywhere and especially tea and banana plantations are all over. To go around we decided to do something new: a motorcycle tour! So let’s explore these crater lakes in Uganda!
