AwaaZ and Samosa Festival Take to Crowd Funding for their Activities

AwaaZ and the Samosa Festival are crowd funding to raise funds for its activities. The initiative aims to raise $25000 over the long term but more importantly $2500 by the end of November 2019. We have already raised $1421 and now wish to seek your help in raising the balance.
The money raised will go towards publishing at least one further issue of AwaaZ and sustain the monthly Samosa activities we have been running in partnership with the National Museums of Kenya during 2019.
“Awaaz is a magazine published tri-annually out of Nairobi, Kenya. It aims to provide a broad platform for debate and reflection on issues of both contemporary and historical interest.” (Read More)
“The Samosa Festival uses the various elements of culture i.e. music, art, performance, theatre and discussion to generate and promote discussions among Kenyans towards cohesion and Integration. The Festival thus provides a unique platform to address national issues in an interesting and entertaining manner.” (Read More)
The process: Please log on to: www.thundafund.com/project/awaazsamosafestival . Your contribution comes with a choice of several rewards which you will see on the fundraising site. In simple terms we need only 40 people to contribute a minimum of $50 in order for us to reach our goal. We hope that you can be part of our success. Of course your contributions over $50 will be most appreciated as we strive for our dream goal of raising $25000 in the near future.
