Toyota Kenya confident on stronger performance from Suzuki models in the coming year
Toyota Kenya is betting on the growing interest in new vehicle models by the Kenyan consumer, for a double-digit year-on-year performance of the Suzuki vehicles that the automobile firm started selling earlier this year.
Speaking during the handover of 18 Suzuki Ciaz’s to Apollo Tours, Toyota Kenya Managing Director Arvinder Reel attributed the interest in Suzuki models to their fuel efficiency and an extensive service centre network countrywide.
In line with Toyota Kenya’s drive towards reaching out to the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment, Suzuki sold by Toyota Kenya has enabled the firm to meet the changing consumer needs by offering wide range of Suzuki models. The models include the Ciaz, Jimny Vitara, Swift, Gypsy, Omni and the recently launched 7 seater Ertiga.
“This partnership with Apollo Tours goes to show the confidence and trust of the Suzuki brand sold by Toyota Kenya in the business community. The Suzuki customers also enjoy Toyota Kenya’s quality first class service that is accessible and efficient, at a low maintenance cost from the dedicated and fully-fledged spare-parts and after sales facilities nationally.”
On his part, Apollo Tours Managing Director Asif Padamshi said, “The confidence of having the vehicles sold by Toyota Kenya was a big plus for us due to the strength of the firm in the Kenyan market, as well as the affordability of the Ciaz.”
The Ciaz is a 1.5 litre engine, 4-speed automatic transmission sedan that has been featured as being the most spacious in this class, especially for rear passengers and has a mix of sophisticated features and an ideal blend of dynamism to deliver driving pleasure.
